Integrated Technology on the 2018 Ford Taurus

You could file many of the technology features of the 2018 Ford Taurus under the quality of life improvement heading. Most of them won't be noticeable, which is what's so surprising. They're integrated so well into the driving experience that you won't notice them until you're actually behind the wheel. Once you do, however, you'll wonder how you ever lived without them.

Standard electric power-assisted steering, also known as EPAS, allows the vehicle to take control of some aspects of the driving process. While the new 2018 Taurus isn't a self-driving car, it certainly feels like it's doing all the work itself. EPAS technology can enhance fuel economy while taking some of the pressure off the driver. This coupled with an efficient 3.5L V6 engine gives the Taurus the ability to go further between fill-ups.

Other features include curve control, which makes it easy to traverse winding roads, and torque vectoring. If you want to get the full experience, then you'll need to go for a test drive through the streets of Fort Mill.
