Performance Testing of the 2019 Ford Ranger

Ford's upcoming 2019 Ranger is going through the ringer to make sure that it's ready for the U.S. market. This all-new midsize pickup truck features a durable build that's designed to help you out in tough situations. To make sure, Ford put the truck through in-lab and off-road testing.

The lab testing phase comprised of shaking. Shake tables rattle the Ranger for days on end to make sure that the tough frame can hold up. To push it even further, the truck is put through the Silver Creek track in Michigan. This track is so tough that Ford had to use robotic drivers. Finally, the Ranger was driven in the Australian Outback to see if it could withstand extreme heat and clouds of dust.

The 2019 Ford Ranger passed all of these tests with flying colors. For more information about this upcoming vehicle, come on down to Fort Mill Ford. We'll be happy to answer your questions.
