What should you know about the 2025 Ford F-150 and the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 before buying your next truck?
Performance
The F-150 is available with six powertrain options, including a hybrid V6 turbo that produces 430 horsepower. The standard engine produces 325 horsepower. Some of the other powertrains available are a turbo 3.5-liter, V6, 400-horsepower system and a supercharged V8, 720-horsepower unit.
The Silverado 1500, on the other hand, is available with only four gas engines. The standard engine generates 310 horsepower. The most powerful engine available is a 6.2-liter, V8 unit that generates 420 horsepower.
Appearance
The 2025 Ford F-150 makes a bold impression with its tall, commanding front-end design and large cab. At the front, a rectangular grille with rounded corners reaches out to the squared-off, LED-capped headlights. Over the sides, molded definition rounds over the wheel wells and runs across the lower door panels.
The 2025 Silverado 1500 has a wide grille with stacked, horizontal crossbars. The upper bars extend outward and are integrated with small LED headlights. The lower bars connect with minor air inlets. The sides have a busy look with an upper accent line, a chrome bar below the belt, and elevated definition that runs along the door panels and over the fenders.
Features
Six trim levels are available for the 2025 Ford F-150. Across these trims, you will find features like a fold-down work console, household power outlets, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a two-panel moonroof, massaging front seats, a head-up display, BlueCruise hands-free driving, a 360-degree camera, a Sync4 infotainment system with a 12-inch screen and more.
