2021 Ford F-150 vs 2021 RAM 1500

Serving Fort Mill, SC

Ford and RAM trucks have been locked in a head-to-head battle for years. While they both have powerful, well-equipped models for you to check out, they pull together different ownership experiences. The 2021 Ford F-150 and the 2021 RAM 1500 start the brands’ full-size truck lines off, so you could assume that they have many similarities. After you check out these models in direct comparison, however, you will discover their many differences.

Exterior

These trucks both have a significant presence on the road with large dimensions and prominent features. The F-150 shows off Ford’s elongated grille, stacked headlights, and sculpted hood. Several cabin and bed configurations are available, and these options vary slightly based on the trim you are interested in. The RAM 1500 has a large hump through the hood and a hexagonal grille, and rectangular headlights. You can expect both models to have fog lamps, power windows, a power liftgate, and other equipment.

Interior

The Ford F-150’s interior is thoughtfully designed to be as functional and as comfortable as you need it to be. This truck comes with everything from folding seats in the rear to a tablet-sized storage compartment, smart device integration, USB and power ports, a trailering camera, and other modern essentials. The 2021 RAM 1500 also has some preferred features. These include a heads-up display, a digital rear mirror, power-adjusting seats, smart device integration, and a few other features.

Performance

Both of these powerful trucks can tow more than 12,000 pounds. They are also available with several gas-powered and diesel engine options. However, only the Ford F-150 comes with EcoBoost technology. Also, the 2021 Ford F-150 offers a full hybrid powertrain for the first time.
